Już po raz 25. odbyła się gala SAG Awards, czyli Nagroda Gildii Aktorów Ekranowych przyznawana w kategoriach filmowych oraz telewizyjnych. Statuetkę Aktora na SAG Awards 2019 otrzymali tym razem Rami Malek, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Mahershala Ali, czy Sandra Oh. Zaskoczeniem były zwycięstwo "Czarnej pantery" w kategorii "Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture" - amerykańscy dziennikarze zastanawiają się teraz, czy to właśnie ta produkcja otrzyma Oscara za najlepszy film. Wspomniany Rami Malek zgarnął kolejną nagrodę za swoją rolę w "Bohemian Rhapsody". Dziękując ze sceny powiedział: "Dziękuję zespołowi Queen i Freddie'emu Mercury'emu... Dostałem od niego moc polegającą na przeżywaniu życia, jak najlepiej się da, będąc tym, kim chcę być i osiągając wszystko czego chcę".

SAG Awards 2019: stroje gwiazd. Najpiękniejsze suknie

Na listach najlepiej ubranych gwiazd najczęściej pojawiają się te nazwiska: Margot Robbie (wybrała białą suknię Chanel), Alison Brie, Sandra Oh, Emily Blunt (w różowej sukni Michael Kors Collection), Emma Stone (w komplecie od Louis Vuitton), czy Lady Gaga. Wokalistka i gwiazda filmu "A star is born" miała na sobie białą suknię Dior z ostatniej kolekcji haute couture. Komentowano również look gospodyni SAG Awards 2019, Megan Mullally. 60-letnia aktorka przyznała, że miała problem ze znalezieniem odpowiedniej kreacji - nie mogła znaleźć niczego odpowiedniego, więc swój strój musiała zakupić online (a nie wypożyczyć, jak to najczęściej bywa). 

"Marka Alexander McQueen przysłała dwie sukienki, ale niestety nie pasowały. Mam na sobie suknię tego brandu, ale kupiłam ją przez internet. (...) Swoje ubrania zawsze kupuje online, ponieważ mogę wtedy nosić to, co chcę, co więcej, najpopularniejsi projektanci nie są zainteresowani w ubieraniu mnie. Mimo, że w tym przypadku powiedziałam, że prowadzę show i mój strój na 100% pojawi się w transmisji z wydarzenia" - przyznała Mullally w rozmowie z Access Hollywood.
